LSU Football Game Times For Vandy, Miss. State To Be Announced Wednesday at Noon

As part of SEC Football Media Days, the Southeastern Conference will announce its television schedule for the first three weeks of the season on Wednesday at noon.

LSU’s season-opener against North Carolina in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is already scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT primetime broadcast on ABC on Sept. 4 in Atlanta. The Tigers’ road game at Vanderbilt the following week on Sept. 11 and the home opener against Mississippi State on Sept. 18 in Baton Rouge will be announced on Wednesday.

This marks the first time since 1995 that LSU will play consecutive road games to open the season. In that year, the Tigers opened the season at third-ranked Texas A&M and then traveled to Mississippi State the following week. LSU is making its first appearance on an ABC regular season game since the network televised the Tigers’ 2002 season-opener at Virginia Tech. The 16th-ranked Hokies won that contest by a score of 26-8.

Check back Wednesday at noon.
